Land Manager (hybrid)

Walker Elliott is working with a reputable mineral company in DFW area and they are seeking to hire highly skilled and experienced Land Manager to join their team. This is a confidential and exclusive search, offering an exciting opportunity for right candidate to contribute to company's growth and success. As a Land Manager you will play a crucial role not only managing the company's assets and overseeing mineral acquisition transactions but also help with land team development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company's land assets, including leases and mineral rights.
• Develop and implement land strategies and processes to maximize the value of company.
• Lead negotiations for mineral acquisitions, leases and other related land agreements.
• Conduct due diligence, curative and evaluations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to land team, fostering a collaborative and high performing work environment.

Requirements:

• Degree in relevant field such as Energy Management, Business Administration, Law
• CPL or JD preferred, not required.
• 10+ yrs. in in-house land function
• 5+ yrs. in recent management or supervisory capacity (managing in-house land team)
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
